Wood Fibre insulation designed secifically for external use as a render backing board for timber frame or solid construction with breathable render systems such as Lime Renders or Clay Plasters. Also suitable behind dry or wet façade systems.
About:
Insulation render carrier boards designed for direct rendering and plastering insulation systems with various base coats.
λD= 0.044 W/(m.K)
Thickness: 40, 60, 80, 100 mm
Dimensions: 590 x 1300 mm, 2600 x 1220 mm
Applications:
- Thermal insulation and soundproofing of enclosure walls.
- Developed for use in contact plastering systems for various plasters.
- Thermal insulation for a solid wood- or mineral-based underlayer and in wooden framework- constructed buildings.

Storage, handling and laying:
- Store panels in a dry area and lay them down dry
- Protect the edges against damage
- Fit a minimum of 30 cm underlying lath
- Contact with the construction elements must be airtight and rain-resistant
- Minimum thickness of facade panels is 40 mm and for openings is 20 mm
- Join each board with a fastener at each corner and two within the board itself
- Put insulation anchors into the board so that they fit tight. When working with wood, set the anchors a minimum of 25 mm deep; when working with a solid, mineral-based underlayer, follow the manufacturer's instructions
- When mounting, follow the rules for joining the seams together using staples, nails or screws
